Everyone wants healthy lips, but sometimes we neglect our lips by not giving them the tender love and care they need. We try our best to take care of our lips. From Chapstick (which we lose a million times), lip balm, lipstick, and Vaseline; we buy various items that are suppose to keep our lips smooth and moisturized. But as we all know most lip moisturizers only are effective for a few hours and your lips go back to feeling dry and chapped. A great Chapstick moisturizes lips to the core and not only on the surface. ChapStick's hydration lock is this great Chapstick.

ChapStick hydration lock is a two-in-one Chapstick, literally. One end of the Chapstick is for moisturizing and the other end is for renewing. Each end in clearly labeled and color coded. The royal blue colored cap is for renewing your lips. The grayish blue colored cap is for moisturizing your lips. Also each side has ridges that indicate where to twist the lip balm to elevate it.

I really like the aspect that each property that will help improve the health of my lips is separate because it allows me to really see how the renewing properties and moisturizing properties are working to make my lips health. Sometimes lip balms claim that they have various agents in their products to help improve the look and feel if your lips, but the look of your lips say otherwise.

The renew side of the Chapstick does exactly what the name entails; it revitalizes your lips. The color of the actual lip balm has a yellow tint to it and has a thick feel to it(a good thing). The renew side is made with natural butters such as Shea butter and Mango seed butter to help your lips heal. Also the renew balm as other healing properties such as coconut oil, avocado oil, and sunflower seed oil. I use the renew balm right before I go to bed. I do this because it is the best time for me to help replenish my lips because they are lest active at this time. Throughout the night my lips are soaking up everything that the renew lip balm has to offer. When I wake up my lips are very soft and smooth. The renewing aspect of this Chapstick really really works.

I use the moisturizing side of this Chapstick throughout the day here and there. Once the moisturizing lip balm is on your lips you do not have to put anymore on for a longtime (depending on how active your lips are). I could go five to six hours before I have to put more lip balm on.
The moisturizing side .helps your lips look younger and fuller. The color is this lip balm is white and it feels very light on your lips. The moisturizing side really moisturizes your lips and I could feel it working its magic. ChapStick hydration lock is an overall quality product. Both sides of this lip balm works exactly how they were designed to. The product is easy to carry. The design of the lip balm is very functional and eye catching. ChapStick hydration lock gets an A++ from me.
