Yay to Fresh Spices

This is a sponsored post that may contains affiliate links

Cooking with fresh spices really does add a heighten quality of flavor to food. Even-though buying fresh ingredients can be somewhat expensive, it is well worth the cost. Two spices worth investing in is sea salt, and whole black pepper. These spices are generally used on a daily basis for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Having a quality grinder is a must to prevent chunks of spices from appearing in your food. Cucina Chef Premium Large Salt and Pepper Grinders will get the job done time and time again.

Cucina Chef Premium Large Salt and Pepper Grinders are beautifully made, holds a substantial quantity of any given spice, and has a adjustable grinding function.  I really like the design of these grinders because they look elegant and can be displayed openly on the dinning room table.  The top half is brushed stainless steel and the 'bowl' is made of sturdy glass. The caps securely keeps the extra grounded spices in the container so you will not have any waste. The glass bowl is really larger and you can fit about two-and-a-half times more spices in them than you would be able to with regular grinders.

A major selling point about these grinders are they are adjustable. This is a great function because you can control the coarseness. You can get a very fine grade, coarse grade, and just about anything in-between. You adjust the grinder by manually twisting  the ceramic mechanism found at the center. Twisting the mechanism up produces a coarser grade and twisting it down produces a finer grade.

Overall the Cucina Chef Premium Large Salt and Pepper Grinders take minimal effort to use and gives a consistent grade every-time. You can either twist the stainless steel end of the glass bowl to work the grinders. I find twisting the bowl easier and more natural. As you can see from the pictures below the grinder works. I did a finer grade and a more coarse grade to add texture. I would highly recommend using these grinders. They would make a great gift and will be used for years to come.

There are several things in the kitchen that I can't live without and those definitely include my salt and pepper mills. There is nothing better than fresh ground pepper and grinding my own himalayan sea salt.

I need to replace my grinders. I love having grinders right on the table. The kids especially feel like chef's when they use them.

I haven't seen a spice grinder in ages! We used to have the cutest set and then it broke. I do agree that fresh spices are the best in cooking..you just can't get the same quality in dried.

This looks like a handy gadget!! My hubby would love something like this! I am not much of a cook and when I do cook I don't use a whole lot of spices. He is the one that works with the spices most often. Will definitely have to look into something like this for him.

Fresh spices do taste much better than those that have been sitting around. A good quality grinder is a key ingredient one needs in the kitchen.
