I love drinking Matcha tea. The flavor of Matcha tea when used for tea is very smooth light earthy flavor. I have never thought of using Matcha in my smoothies or as a baking ingredient. I am glad that I received a free sample of Organic culinary grade matcha to review because this has allowed me to experience matcha in a new way. I tried the organic matcha in my smoothie and it was a very interesting experience. But before I get into those details, lets talk about the product itself.

Everything you need to know about the Organic matcha is right on the front of the the package. This product is USDA organic certified. The benefits of using this product is listed as: metabolism booster, all day energy, increases focus, improves skin health, and has 137 antioxidants. On the back of the package, the only ingredient that is listed is 100% Matcha. Also on the back, it goes into more details about the benefits of using matcha. 

The package is resealable and contains the Matcha perfectly. The Matcha is in powder form (as shown on the front of the product). You receive a nice amount of Matcha powder. When you open up the package, you can instantly smell the earthiness. Now that we have the product description, lets talk about my experience. As I stated before, I used the organic matcha in a fruit smoothie. 

The fruit that was in the smoothie was bananas and grapefruit. I also add two tablespoon heaps of matcha powder. After my smoothie concoction was completly blended, I drank some of the smoothie and had mixed feelings. The Smoothie was really delicious. I could taste both the fruit and the matcha. However, the matcha flavor was extremely earthy. I think because I add too much matcha powder I had the shock of how instant the flavor was. I think for now on for smoothies, one tablespoon of matcha powder will do.

The matcha did give me an energy boost. After I had made my smoothie I hopped into bed because I wanted to take a little nap. But while I was drinking my smoothie in bed I did not feel the need to take a nap anymore. So this organic matcha will definitely give you an energy boost. I think the other benefits that are listed would be noticeable with using the product overtime. 

Overall this organic matcha is a good product. The resealable container makes it easy and convenient to store. The only ingredient is matcha (a super plus ). Also a little bit of matcha powder definitely goes a long way. If you are a tea lover and/or looking for an all organic way to boost your energy, you should definitely give this product a try.

Gurin Spa Ultrasonic Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser Review

The most I have ever done as far as aroma therapy is using incense and scented candles. In my mind, using essential oils were messy, not long lasting, and expensive. However, since I have been using the Gurin mini aroma diffuser , my mind has been completely changed. The Gurin mini aroma diffuser is like a scented candle and incense in one! Even-though I received a FREE sample to review, My views are strictly my own & unbiased.

The Gurin mini aroma diffuser is electrically operated. So you will need to place the system near an outlet. The cord is moderately long (as you can see the cord is plugged into an power cord that is seating on the floor). Also the system comes with an essential oil. I received Lavender. This to me was very pleasing because many systems do not include an essential oil with it.

The Gurin mini aroma diffuser is very easy to use. First you twist of the face of the system. Then in the space provided, you fill the system with water(it tells you where to stop). Next you had a few drops of the essential oil of your choice. Place the face back on tordhe system and make sure it is closed. Press the button to the desired time you wish to have the system on and sit back and start enjoying the wonder scent of your oil. Since the Gurin mini aroma diffuser is somewhat like a humidifier, the scent of the essential oil you choose Is constantly being released in the air. 

The scent also covers a large area space. I placed the Gurin in my living room and I could effortlessly smell the lavender scent no matter where I was at in the living room and the dinning room. 
A major wow factor of the Gurin mini aroma diffuser for me is that it changes colors. The normal white that the system comes in is very beautiful especially during the day time because it I looks like a decorated candle. During the evening through night, I like to "light up" my Gurin. There are four different colors: White, Blue,Red, & Green. There are also two different intensity the colors can be. You can either dim them of have them bright. 

The bright blue & the red dimmed are my favorite two modes. I would highly recommend getting the Gurin mini aroma diffuser. This was my first time every using an aroma therapy system with essential oils and I am hooked for life. This system is very high quality, from the functionality to the aesthetics. The Gurin mini aroma diffuser would make a great gift for any occasion. For those who love aroma therapy, you must give the Gurin a try!
