I have been using Raw Shea Butter for 4 to 5 years now. I love the moisturizing & healing properties of Shea Butter. There are various ways in which you can incorporate Organic Shea Butter into your everyday beauty routine. So when I was selected by Beauty By Shea to sample & review their product of Raw Organic Shea Butter through Tomoson, I was excited. The quality of Organic Shea Butter varies depending on the company you choose to purchase it from. So I was eager to see where I would rank Beauty By Shea Raw Organic Shea Butter. Even-though I received a FREE sample of Shea Butter to review, My views are strictly my own & unbiased.
My overall opinion of Beauty By Shea Organic Unrefined Raw Shea Butter-Ivory is that the quality of this Shea Butter is top-notch. From the consistency to the smell, Beauty By Shea Organic Unrefined Raw Shea Butter-Ivory gets an A++ from me. Now lets go into more detail about the product.
The packaging that the Shea Butter comes in is very simple & efficient. On the package that is containing the Shea Butter, you can clearly read the label that states what product is in the container, how to use the product, how to store the product, & the net weight of the product.
The container is cardboard on the outside but is aluminum on the inside. Also the package is resealable (which is a major plus). The Shea Butter itself is contained inside a Ziploc bag in a block form. This is the first time I have ever had Shea Butter in this form of packaging. However it is not an issue. Having the Shea Butter in a Ziploc bag allows for easier storage in the refrigerator if you decide to not use the resealable package(Some people might not find the need to double seal it).
The Shea Butter as I stated before comes in a block form. I like that it comes in this form because the Shea Butter is compacted and you can effortlessly takeaway as much Shea Butter as you need at any given moment. The color of this Shea Butter is Ivory. The color of raw Shea Butter can range from an ivory color to an yellow color.
The consistency of this Shea Butter is very thick. The consistency can be changed to a looser form one of two ways. The first way is you can set the Shea Butter out to get room temperature and it will loosen up. The second way is you can rub the Shea Butter between the palms of your hands and the heat/friction will loosen the Shea Butter.

The Number One Way To Tell If Shea Butter Is Truly Organic Is From It's Scent! Shea Butter has a natural and very strong Nutty scent. Beauty By Shea Shea Butter has this exact scent. This scent is not overbearing. To me, the smell of Organic Shea Butter is very pleasing and inviting. I always get compliments on my aroma when I moisturize myself with Shea Butter. If Organic Shea Butter Does Not Have A Scent, It Is NOT Organic!
Overall, Shea Organic Unrefined Raw Shea Butter-Ivory is an high quality Shea butter. I would highly recommend this Shea butter to those who will be using Raw Shea butter for the first time. Also I would definitely recommend this Shea butter to more experienced users of Raw Shea Butter.
