Where's All My Stuff

When I was in elementary school I would lay out all of my clothes that I was going to wear to school the night before so I could get some extra sleep and so I did not have to wake up looking for things. This plan worked out great as long as I actually did it. For the days that I forgot to lay out my clothes, it was very hectic in the morning. It was a mad dash to try and find  and put everything on so I would not be late to school. If your child can relate to this experience, Morning Magic by Giles Smith is the book for them.

Morning Magic is about a 6 year old girl named Emily who is a trainee witch at Magic School. She is so excited to be going to school because she wants to fly her new broom. However, her morning starts off frantically because she can not readily find her uniform for school. With the help of her budding magic skills and her pet frog Paul, she is able to get dressed in the nick of time to make it to school on time.

The illustration of this book is very well done (thanks to Milena Salieri) and colorful. The book is well written and the letters are large enough to be seen easily. Any child 6 any up would enjoy reading this book. This book could also be used as color practice and everyday common house hold item recognition for children under 6.  I would highly recommend getting Morning Magic by Giles Smith. This book teaches children about determination, problem solving, and accomplishment.

I received this product free to review, but my opinions are my own.
